He graduated in 2011 from the Medical School of Larissa. He completed his training in Internal Medicine at the General Hospital of Paphos and Nicosia.
He then moved to London, where he worked as a Senior Clinical Fellow in the Department of Gastroenterology and Neuroendocrine Tumors at the Royal Free Hospital, one of the largest centers for Neuroendocrine Tumors in Europe.
He returned to Greece and in 2021 completed his training in Gastroenterology – Hepatology at the University General Hospital of Heraklion, Crete.
Throughout his training, he gained experience in managing a wide range of conditions, including general gastroenterology (such as irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease, eosinophilic esophagitis), hepatology, alcohol use disorder, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), pancreatic and biliary diseases, and neuroendocrine tumors.
