Dr Andrea Solomou

Dr. Andrea Solomou is an experienced physician specializing in internal medicine, gastroenterology and hepatology, with over 10 years of clinical expertise. She graduated from Carl Gustav Carus Faculty of Medicine at the University of Dresden, Germany.

Throughout her medical career, Dr. Solomou has gained extensive experience in various areas of internal medicine, including diabetology and geriatrics. Her growing interest in the complexities of digestive health led her to specialize further in gastroenterology. In recent years, she worked at AK Harburg, a specialized clinic in Hamburg, Germany, where over 4,000 gastroenterological cases are diagnosed and treated annually.

Dr. Solomou offers comprehensive care across a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal and hepatological disorders. She has a particular interest in hepatology, focusing on conditions such as MASLD (Metabolic Dysfunction-associated Steatotic Liver Disease), including fatty liver,  as well as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Known for her scientific rigor and patient-centered approach, she combines up-to-date clinical knowledge with compassionate, clear communication to create a supportive treatment environment.
