At El Greco Medical Centre, our Nephrology Department is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with kidney-related conditions. We understand that managing kidney health requires not only medical expertise but also compassion, support, and advanced facilities; and that’s exactly what we offer.
Our department provides both inpatient care for patients with kidney problems and nephrology support for those being treated in other departments of the hospital, including the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). We ensure that every patient receives continuous, specialized care during their hospital stay, no matter where they are in the Centre.
One of the unique features of El Greco is the ability to perform bedside hemodialysis for acute cases, directly at the patient’s room, without the need to move them—ensuring comfort, safety, and continuity of care even in critical situations.
Our Hemodialysis Unit has the capacity to serve up to 72 hemodialysis patients, including both regular patients and visitors from other cities or countries who require dialysis during their stay in Cyprus. The unit is fully equipped with:
