The Cardiothoracic Surgery Department at El Greco Medical Centre is dedicated to the surgical treatment of diseases affecting the heart, lungs, and major vessels within the chest. Our skilled surgical team performs the full spectrum of open-heart, minimally invasive, and thoracoscopic procedures, consistently prioritizing patient safety and optimal long-term results.

With access to state-of-the-art operating theatres, advanced imaging modalities, and continuous monitoring in our Coronary Care Unit (CCU) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU), we provide expert care for both elective surgeries and emergency cases. Commonly treated conditions include coronary artery disease, valvular disorders, aortic aneurysms, and thoracic tumors.

Our cardiothoracic surgeons work closely with our interventional cardiology, anesthesiology, and intensive care teams to ensure a seamless continuum of care from diagnosis through to recovery.
